BlockPort, a digital identity and compliance technology company, has released its new Smart Identity Wallet (SIW) — a self-custodial identity management solution that allows users to store, manage, and selectively share verified credentials across Web3 platforms and international financial services. The SIW is designed to solve the growing challenges of fragmented KYC data, manual verification, and privacy concerns.
The Smart Identity Wallet uses decentralized identifiers (DIDs) combined with verifiable credentials that can be issued by banks, universities, government institutions, and regulated organizations. Once integrated, users can grant platforms limited access to verification proofs without revealing sensitive personal information. The wallet supports multi-chain environments including Ethereum, Polygon, Base, and Avalanche.

BlockPort’s SIW reduces onboarding time for exchanges, fintech apps, and DeFi protocols by up to 90%, according to early industry testing. Institutions can request permissioned, cryptographically verified identity proofs that meet compliance requirements while preserving user autonomy.
